QuickBooks Basic - Module 1 We are starting over with our QuickBooks series. This meeting will cover the QuickBooks Basics - what we call QB101. Proper set up of a QuickBooks file including Customers, Vendors, Items, Sales Tax. If you are working with a QuickBooks file that is not set up properly or you don't know if it is, we will cover the ways in which you can clean up a file with relative ease. This meeting is going to cover inventory from birth to death. Setting up items, purchase orders, receiving items, entering bills, sales orders, invoices and inventory adjustments. Bring your inventory questions!! We will have coffee, juice and snacks. We meet from 10 to 12. Hi Group! I have planned our first Meetup Group Meeting for next Saturday, October 25th.
(I apologize for not being able to meet this Saturday but it snuck up on me too fast.)
The meeting will be at 10am. I will have breakfast items. The meeting will be in Snellville as I have not located another location. I am only about 2 blocks off of Highway 78 so it is easy to get to) As for an agenda, I would like input from you on what would be most helpful to you. I thought a discussion and question and answer session might be a good way to get us started. Depending on the complexity of what we want to discuss, I have projecter and screen so we all can see. I do want to be cognizant of not sharing private or personal information. We can use sample companies or change names in files - whatever works best. I also have some QuickBooks cheat sheets I'll pass out as well. So come and bring your QuickBooks problems and challenges and we will work through all we can. I anticipate meeting for two hours.
